Transfer Zurich - Zermatt

Das Dorf Zermatt ist seit Jahrzehnten autofrei und darf nicht mit Autos befahren werden. Die Besucher welche ein Hotel in Zermatt gebucht haben, werden bis nach Täsch (eine Ortschaft vor Zermatt) gefahren. Dort steigen die Gäste in einen Zug um welcher Sie ins Dorf Zermatt bringt. Dauer der Fahrt ca. 13 Minuten!

In Zermatt angekommen besteigen die Gäste ein Elektro-Taxi welches dann die Gäste und das Gepäck zum gebuchten Hotel bringt.

Das Ganze ist zeitlich gut aufeinander abgestimmt und funktioniert sehr gut!

The village of Zermatt has been car-free for decades and may not be driven on by cars. Visitors who have booked a hotel in Zermatt will be driven to Täsch (a village before Zermatt). There the guests get on a train which takes them to the village of Zermatt. Duration of the journey approx. 13 minutes!

Arrived in Zermatt the guests board an electric taxi which then brings the guests and the luggage to the booked hotel.

The whole thing is well timed and works very well!

Die Fahrt ist auch ein Erlebnis!

Die Fahrt führt von Zürich, Zug nach Luzern. dem Vierwaldstätter-See, Sarnersee und Lungernsee entlang in Richtung Brünig-Pass (ca. 1000 m.ü.M) wo man zum ersten Mal einen Eindruck der imposanten Schweizer Berge erlebt.

Ein professioneller und diskreter Fahrer der auch noch ganz viel über die zu fahrende Route und die Umgebung zu erzählen hat.

Vom Brünig-Pass hinunter zum Brienzersee, an der Tourismus-Ortschaft Interlaken vorbei zum Thunersee. Ein paar Kilometer direkt am Thunersee entlang (auf Wasserhöhe!!) Danach fährt man durch ein idyllisches Tal bis nach Kandersteg.

Hier erwartet den Fahrgast eine spezielle, in Europa sehr seltene Attraktion! Das Auto wird mit Fahrgästen und Gepäck auf einen Zug verladen. Dieser fährt in 15 Minuten durch einen grossen Berg (Lötschberg). Am Ende des Tunnels geht es wieder auf die STrasse und weiter ins schöne Wallis. Einem fruchtbaren Tal im Süden der Schweiz.

Jetzt noch ca. 40 Minuten durch das wilde Mattertal hinauf nach Täsch wo die Autofahrt endet!

Die ganze Fahrt dauert ca. 3,5 Std. (ohne Pause) auf Wunsch auch mit kurzer Kaffeepause unterwegs. Die Fahrzeit ist etwas von den Verladezeiten auf den Zug abhängig.

The journey leads from Zurich, Zug to Lucerne, along Lake Lucerne, Lake Sarnen and Lake Lungern in the direction of the Brünig Pass (approx. 1000 m.a.s.l.), where for the first time you will experience an impression of the imposing Swiss mountains.

From the Brünig Pass down to Lake Brienz, past the tourist town of Interlaken to Lake Thun. A few kilometres along the shores of Lake Thun (at water level!!) Then you drive through an idyllic valley to Kandersteg.

A special attraction, very rare in Europe, awaits the passenger here! The car is loaded onto a train with passengers and luggage. The train travels through a large mountain (Lötschberg) in 15 minutes. At the end of the tunnel we return to the STrasse and continue into the beautiful Valais. A fertile valley in the south of Switzerland.

Now about 40 minutes through the wild Mattertal up to Täsch where the car ride ends!

The whole trip takes about 3.5 hours. (without break) if desired also with short coffee break on the way. The journey time depends somewhat on the loading times on the train.
